About Me

I grew up in a small town in West Alabama. Most people have not heard about it, but it is called Aliceville. I graduated from Pickens Academy in 2017 where I played football, basketball, golf, and powerlifting.

I went off to college and attended the University of West Alabama where I met a great group of friends that included my future wife, Baleigh. We all served in a college ministry together called The Awakeing.

After graduating with a degree in Sport Management and was a intern for the Athletic Communications department at UWA. After graduation, they asked if I would come back and be a Graduate Assistant. So I stuck around for another year and began to learn the world of sports.

This was an incredible time where I got the opportunity to be the SID for the UWA baseball, tennis, track & field, and rodeo teams. It was awesome! I learned how to write, create content, and broadcast games.

I got an opportunity to become a full time employee at Auburn University at Montgomery as the Assistant Sports Information Director. I was the SID for the softball, women’s basketball, volleyball, and the tennis teams. I worked on my creative content skills during this time and saw myself grow a lot!

I decided I wanted to take a step out of sports and work in the insurance world, which led me to the Mississippi Gulf Coast where I work for a local State Farm agent and work part time for The Scorer’s Table.
